Does God Require Worship On A Specific Day?
Although many Christians believe that Sunday morning is the “set day and time” for Christian worship, this is not taught in God's word. Sunday morning is simply a tradition, a tradition I've grown to love and practice. But it's just that, a tradition.
I once demanded that everyone worship on Sunday because it was what I was taught. I had no real basis for teaching this except for a few Scriptures and concepts that I really stretched to prove my point. This made all of my conclusions assumptions.
One Scripture I used to prove worship must be on Sunday is Acts 20:7 which reads, "Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight. midnight."
